Following the completion of the 6th UK Kagyu Monlam in May (photos of each day’s proceedings are available on the Samye Ling Facebook page), we look forward to further Dharma activities later this year.
While some dates are still being finalized, we want to share our upcoming plans for visiting teachers and events over the coming months:
- Khenpo Karma Drodul (Mid-June – Mid-August): His arrival is dependent on visa approval. We will announce his teaching schedule as soon as this is confirmed.
- Khenpo Ghawang (Mid August – End of September): More details regarding his teachings will be shared as soon as they are available.
- Samye Ling Tea Party and Open Day (Sunday, August 30th, from 2pm): Everyone is welcome to join us for our annual open afternoon.
- On 8th October we commemorate the 13th anniversary since our Founder Akong Tulku Rinpoche passed away and from 8th to 15th October, Drupon Khen Rinpoche will lead the Akong Memorial Retreat. We extend a heartfelt invitation to all of Rinpoche’s friends and students to come and commemorate his extraordinary life, vision, and legacy.
