Samye Ling Sangha joined other Kagyu monasteries online to receive teachings from His Holiness 17th Gyalwang Karmapa on the Introduction to the Abhisambodhi of Vairochana.
Gathered at Samye Ling for the Khyabje Akong Tulku Memorial Retreat, the Lamas, Sangha, and lay community joined His Holiness the 17th Gyalwang Karmapa and Kagyu monasteries worldwide to observe the Parinirvana Anniversary of the 8th Gyalwang Karmapa, Mikyo Dorje. After His Holiness spoke on the profound benefits of honoring great masters, an offering of debate by the Kagyu shedras was made, and the assembly joined together for the sadhana of Kagyu songs written by Mikyö Dorje.
Following heart-felt requests to His Holiness the 17th Gyalwang Karmapa we have had the immense privilege of attending his annual Nar-Ngok Summer Teachings on Zoom.
HH 17th Gyalwang Karmapa conferred the transmission for the Tara Mandala Sadhana as well as the short Five Deities Tara Sadhana which His Holiness composed recently.
